The deadline for entries in the Collegiate Opera Scenes Competition is October 15, 2010.
Selected scenes will be invited to perform in the final round in San Antonio at the Annual Convention in January, 2011.

Sacred in Opera Newsletter
The SIO Newsletter
The Sacred in Opera newsletter is an online newsletter published several times a year. The newsletter features articles contributed by members which discuss both old and new sacred operas, as well as the details relevant to producing each opera.
Members may submit articles to Ruth Dobson, Chair of the SIO, at her email address dobsonr@pdx.edu. Articles are selected for publication at the Chair's discretion.
The newsletter is released by e-mail, and can also be downloaded from the links below. To automatically receive the newsletter via e-mail, send an e-mail to SacredinOpera@gmail.com with the word, "ADD" in the subject line.
The newsletters, in PDF format, may be read with the Preview application on Apple computers or Adobe Reader on Windows-based computers.
