Dr. Christy Thomas Adams joined the musicology faculty at the University of Alabama School of Music in 2019, having previously held faculty positions at the Yale School of Music, Bowdoin College, and Bates College. She received her Ph.D. with distinction in Music History from Yale University. Originally from Baltimore, MD, she also holds undergraduate degrees in Music, Art History, and History. Dr. Joshua Neumann is a Research Fellow in digital musicology at the Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Literatur | Mainz (Germany), having previously taught at the University of Florida and Shenandoah University. He holds both a PhD in Historical Musicology and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Humanities from the University of Florida, a MMus in Music History from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, and a BMus in Music Performance (percussion) from Gordon College, in Wenham, MA.
