From 7:00am to 7:00pm ET on April 4th, your gift to NOA will make a significant impact with matching opportunities from several generous donors. You will also have the chance to direct your donation to an initiative that matters most to you. Check out the On-the-Clock Challenges below to see what works for you, and please share the news with your colleagues, students, friends, and family.
Don’t see a challenge that interests you? You can give any time during Giving Day and your funds will go to our general operating fund so that the Board of Directors can apply your dollars to areas of need within the organization.
Matching Challenge:
11:00 AM to 12:10 PM ET
For 70 minutes, all gifts to NOA between 11:00 AM ET and 12:10 PM ET will be matched up to $2,100 thanks to a generous lead donor.

Fund Competition Challenge:
2:00 PM to 3:10 PM ET
For 70 minutes, 3 funds will go head-to-head in the Fund Competition Challenge. The Fund that receives the most dollars donated between 2:00 PM ET and 3:10 PM ET will receive an additional $500 thanks to two generous donors.
Which fund matters most to you? Give during this challenge, and invite colleagues, friends, and family to support your cause!
The Funds for this challenge are:
- The Legacy Celebration Fund: all gifts will be applied towards NOA’s 30th anniversary celebration of The Legacy Project happening in at the Boston 2026 Conference
- JoElyn Wakefield-Wright Stage Director Fellowship Fund: dollars given to this fund will go directly to support directors at the beginning of their career in opera stage direction
- The Robert Hansen Collegiate Scenes Competition Fund: donations to this fund will directly support costs associated with executing this celebrated annual competition for college students and their directors
