The 56th Annual National Opera Association Convention will be held in San Antonio, Texas, from January 6 through January 9, 2011.

From the Vice President for Programs

Please join us from January 6th–9th, 2011 for the 56th Annual National Opera Association Convention titled: THE EVOLUTION OF OPERA: Facing Change—From the Fifteenth to the Twenty-First Century. Local chair, Barbary Hill-Moore, and I have been working since January to put together a group of sessions that encompass our theme to illustrate how opera continues to develop and evolve over time. We have received sessions that are new, exciting and forward looking from NOA members across the country and professional company members in the area. We hope that you will join us in lovely San Antonio for what we hope will be an enlightening and energizing event. Please see the sample of the sessions that will be offered. See you down San Antonio way!
