Congratulations to the winner of the 2012-14 Chamber Opera Competition: An Embarrassing Position, music and libretto by Dan Shore. The work will be performed in its entirety in January, 2014, in New York, as part of the annual convention.

Convention Hotel
Convention attendees are encouraged to stay at the convention hotel, the Roosevelt Hotel:

National Opera Center
Some convention events will also be held at OPERA America's newly opened National Opera Center:
The National Opera Center occupies two floors at 330 Seventh Avenue, between 28th and 29th Streets, in New York City. Located in midtown Manhattan, just blocks from 10 subway lines, Amtrak, regional trains and airport shuttles, it is easily accessible to New Yorkers and visitors alike.
